Project Description

Project Status: Planning & Pre-Demolition

The Humanities Building is located in a central part of campus, right next to the Student Union Building and Smith Plaza. The Humanities Building will be closed at the end of the  2024 fall semester, with abatement beginning in January 2025, followed by demolition, which should conclude in fall 2025. The new building in its place is scheduled to open in 2028.

The College of Arts & Sciences has built a website documenting the relocation of current Humanities Faculty and Staff, including a directory which lists where you can find each individual in their temporary office.
